Founded in 1989, Professional Band Instrument Repair - LLC, is renowned for providing top-notch repairs, and setup for vintage and professional instruments in the Central Florida area. Additionally, we service local school band repairs, partnered with Sweetwater for instrument rentals, as well as teach a "new band director" workshop to provide music educators with the basic skills needed for quick fixes. We also offer instrument repair classes and instructional videos to support musicians in enhancing their skills and knowledge.

Scott Robinson, owner and lead repairman, apprenticed with the late great woodwind repairman Saul Fromkin; who worked with many of the leading saxophonists in the world, such as Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon, Lee Konitz, Jimmy Heath, George Coleman, Gato Baribieri, and many, many others. Scott brings Saul's instrument repair techniques to life, as he bases all of his tradecraft on Saul's memory. First and foremost, Scott pledges "to do no harm," and will not recommend bogus repairs. He also believes all instruments were meant to play and it's his job to adjust and replace "only that which needs to be fixed." Scott truly knows how to "listen to the horn, it will tell you what it needs."

We are grateful for your business and look forward to helping get back to practicing!
